Senior Partner Emerita at McKinsey & Company, Joanna Barsh is the bestselling author of How Remarkable Women Lead, Centered Leadership, and Grow Wherever You Work. It all began in 2007, when Joanna launched the Centered Leadership program to help develop leaders who aspire to unleash the potential of their organizations. Centered Leadership is taught all over the world today. Joanna is also a strong advocate for women. She served on NYC’s Commission on Women’s Issues for 10 years and she co-led the Leadership Working Group of Clinton’s International Council on Women’s Business Leadership. In addition, Joanna has led well-respected research for a decade, with McKinsey, The Wall Street Journal, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and MAKERS. She has engaged with business and government leaders globally on the topic of women’s leadership. Joanna holds degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Chicago, and Harvard Business School, where she was a Baker Scholar.
