In order to put a joyful end to the winter vacations in the southern hemisphere, L’Oréal Chile celebrated Kid’s Day.

A day planned especially with the staff and their children in mind and an opportunity for the children to place themselves in their mother or father’s shoes, visit the offices at two of the headquarters it has in Chile, sit down at the workplace of each staff member and learn for themselves (and with a child’s eyes) what it is we do at L’Oréal.

Candies, balloons, children’s books and the illusion of forming part of a group looked after by grade school teachers and Human Relations personnel, launched a day full of laughter and activities. Each group, selected according to the age of each child, passed through different work stations to make every minute of their day count: painting workshops « with real paint », clowns (by far the funniest part of the day), a play of Red Riding Hood of the XX° century and a « dreadful » wolf, and the expectations of those of us who had fun trying to identify which child belonged to which parent…

A non-working day for many parents and full of noises for those who are not yet parents, it ended with a party in the canteen with lots of good things: a cascade of fruits with chocolate, the hot-dog cart, popcorn and the traditional cotton candy, a must at every children’s party.

Content, with painted faces, many of them with swords and flowers made with balloons, and more than one that stole Pepa Pig …. With a happy heart and armed with their gifts, specially thought for each age, the children of L’Oréal Chile were the undisputed protagonists of a day that we all have fond memories of.
